Our Story & History
Helping Hands Clinic was founded in 1998 on the belief that the inability to pay should not prevent people from receiving quality healthcare.
The Clinic's mission is not only to provide access to care but to improve the health of our patients. Each year the Clinic provides more than 3,000 patient visits for uninsured adults. In addition to medical visits and life-saving prescription medication, the Clinic offers a wide range of free services including patient education, on-site labs, and diagnostic tests.
Thanks to strong community partnerships and volunteer support, Helping Hands Clinic is able to provide over $7 million each year in high quality medical care with an operating budget of less than 10% of that cost.
